THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- An on-duty MTA conductor was punched in the face on Tuesday, April 30, the NYPD announced on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at around 3:15 p.m. on a northbound 6 train at the Parkchester station, police said.

The 52-year-old female conductor was inspecting the train when an unidentified female approached her and started a verbal dispute, officials said. The individual punched the victim in the face and left the station, police said.
