PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Both Oregon and Washington dropped a few spots in an annual ranking of the best U.S. states. But while the Evergreen State remained in the top 10, the Beaver State fell to the bottom half of the pack.
U.S. News and World Report released its 2024 list of the top states on Tuesday. The media company analyzes metrics related to health care, education, the economy and more to determine the highest-ranking places.
