ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Sports fans and stars gathered at the New York State Capitol on Tuesday in support of updating the state's fantasy sports laws. A new bill proposed in the senate would allow the New York State Gaming Commission to give licenses to more fantasy sport operators.
Sen. Joe Addabbo is the bill's sponsor. He said the change would generate between $150 million and $200 million in new revenue for New York over the next 10 years. The law would also raise the age to play from 18 to 21.
