To the editor: Solving Maumee congestion
In response to your editorial last week (“Maumee Traffic Aches,” April 25), I write to emphasize that Maumee leaders clearly have a strong vision for a more family-friendly and pedestrian-friendly city. Executing on big strategic ideas is difficult, takes time, and is certainly disruptive and inconvenient in the short term. Those who are irritated with the current congestion aren’t wrong or unreasonable. But to push our region forward, we need to weather short-term inconvenience in service of a long-term vision.
