A former pharmacy technician at a Connecticut hospital has pleaded guilty to stealing a portion of an opioid solution meant for patient use and using it for herself before replacing it with saline.
Tiffany Moss, 34, of Montville waived her right to be indicted and entered a plea during a hearing Tuesday in Bridgeport federal court, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut.
Federal officials said she pleaded guilty to tampering with a consumer product.
