BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Louisiana rapper will stay in federal custody at least until his next court date. NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, is accused of being in a prescription drug fraud ring.
According to court documents, Gaulden is accused of operating a large-scale drug prescription fraud ring in Cache County in Utah. He was arrested on Tuesday, April 16.
Gaulden faces 46 charges in Utah, including patterns of unlawful activity, unlawful conduct-pharmacy practices, identity fraud and forgery.
