Derby County’s potential bid to sign midfielder Ebou Adams on a permanent deal is set to fall short of Cardiff City’s asking price, according to journalist Darren Witcoop.
Adams joined Derby from Cardiff in the winter transfer window on loan for the rest of the season.
He has played a key role in getting Derby promoted to the Championship and the club are keen to hold on to him on a permanent deal.
The Rams are already preparing to table a bid for the midfielder in order to keep him at Pride Park.
