Gary Neville insisted that Michael Oliver made the right decision not to award a penalty for Tottenham in the lead-up to Bukayo Saka’s goal in the first half.
Tottenham had the better of the early exchanges of the game but it was the away side who opened the scoring against the run of play, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg heading the ball into his own net on 15 minutes.
However, Spurs did not let their heads drop after conceding that goal and continued to play some good football, committing bodies forward.
