The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reports that Afghanistan’s 23.7 million people, including 12.3 million children, require humanitarian assistance in 2024.
UNICEF states that only 35% of the required $1.4 billion in aid for children in Afghanistan has been secured.
