Uzbek media reported that a new package containing 169 tons of humanitarian aid had been delivered to Balkh province from Termez.
According to reports, the delivery took place in the presence of Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, the Taliban governor of Balkh, and Erkin Khamraev the Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister.
Uzbekistan’s official sources have stated that the new aid package includes 48 tons of flour, 48 tons of wheat, 15 tons of vegetable oil, 24 tons of sugar, 22 tons of macaroni, and packaged meat.
