Lok Sabha Elections: Voting commences in 88 seats; Maharashtra records lowest voter turnout at 7%, Tripura sees highest at 16% as of 9 am
In the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Maharashtra saw the lowest turnout with 7.45%, while Tripura had the highest at 16.65% by 9 am. Voting took place in 88 constituencies across 13 states and Union Territories. The voting window is from 7 am to 6 pm, with the elections scheduled in seven phases until June 1, and counting set for June 4.
