A Connecticut man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on a weapons charge, according to authorities.
Elbert LLorrens, 31, of New Haven, is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, according to federal authorities.
Authorities said the indictment alleges that Llorrens possessed a loaded Smith & Wesson, model SD40 VE, .40 caliber pistol, though according to federal law, anyone convicted of a felony can’t possess any firearm that has moved in interstate or foreign commerce.
