I survived a traumatic ectopic pregnancy but feel too scared to try for another baby

DEAR DEIDRE: AFTER surviving a traumatic ectopic pregnancy, I’m not sure if I want to try again for a baby.

A year ago I was rushed to hospital as a medical emergency.

It was so traumatic and now my partner and I are wondering if we can risk it happening again.

I am almost 40 and my partner is 42. We have been together for almost five years and have a wonderful relationship.

We always planned to have children and this would have been our first baby.

We were both anxious about it...
