Nawab Malik joins Ajit camp, creates piquant situation for ally BJP

The Shiv Sena (UTB) sought to taunt the government in the legislative council, after news that Malik had joined the ruling coalition. Fadnavis, who was in the council, responded, "their own leader did not ask him to quit as minister even though he was accused of being a traitor and was in jail. You should first answer why you did not resign before questioning us."
