AQI 'poor'; mornings set to be foggy

The air quality in Ghaziabad turned 'poor' on Saturday as the city logged an AQI of 270 compared to 312 ('very poor') on Friday. Noida also saw marginal improvement as its AQI dropped to 322 on Saturday from 349 a day ago as did Greater Noida, where the AQI was 324 compared to 350. Meanwhile, officials said the Noida Authority is continuing the mechanical sweeping of roads and water sprinkling in dust-prone areas to check pollution. Delhiites are unlikely to get a respite from bad air for the next few days.
