Man dies in Oakland hit-and-run traffic collision
OAKLAND — A pedestrian died early Friday near the city’s downtown after he was struck by a vehicle that kept going, authorities said.
The name of the 34-year-old man killed was not immediately released pending notification of his relatives.
The fatality happened about 12:33 a.m. Friday at the intersection of West Grand Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
