‘People say I’m mad’ – Mum shares ‘dangerous’ Christmas tree tradition that leaves her friends speechless

A WIFE has revealed her unique Christmas tree tradition that  makes people label her “mad.”

Monica Roberts, who now lives in France, grew up in South Africa with a German mum and loved embracing her heritage.

Monica plans carefully to make sure her Christmas tree is safe She loves lighting the candles when the sun sets

But there’s one Crimbo quirk that the 54-year-old admits some people can’t get their heads around.
