Menezes was biggest brand ambassador for India; believer in its market potential: Diageo India MD

Ivan Manuel Menezes, the India-born CEO of Diageo, died on Wednesday at the age of 64. He had been hospitalised to treat a stomach ulcer. Menezes, who was set to retire at the end of the month, had been a strong advocate for the Indian market and was described as the company’s “biggest brand ambassador for India”.
