Iran Says IRGC Advisors Was Killed In Israeli Strikes On Syria, Vows To Respond

On March 31, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that one of its advisors in Syria was killed in the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the outskirts of Damascus city in the early morning.

“At dawn today, Friday, Milad Heydari, one of the IRGC’s military advisors in Syria, was martyred in a criminal attack by the Zionist regime near Damascus,” the IRGC said in a statement carried by state media.
