BJP planning to field Vijayendra against Siddaramaiah in Varuna

The former Congress CM is contesting from Varuna, represented currently by his son Dr Yathindra. He has also requested the party to allow him to contest from Kolar, the seat the party had earlier considered safe, but shifted him to Varuna later after surveys apparently indicated he will have it tough in Kolar.
