Bengal: TMC leader Sabyasachi Dutta arrested on extortion, criminal intimidation charges

Trinamool Congress leader Sabyasachi Dutta was arrested from North 24 Parganas district. Police apprehended him from his residence based on a businessman's complaint of extortion. Dutta, a former Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation chairman, denied the charges. He was produced before the Bidhannagar sub-divisional court. Eggs and tomatoes were thrown at him.
