TMC leader Jahangir Khan arrested near India-Nepal border in north Bengal on 'extortion' charges after days on the run

Trinamool Congress leader Jahangir Khan was apprehended by West Bengal Police's Special Task Force near the India-Nepal border. Khan had been evading arrest for several days. He faces multiple FIRs registered at Falta police station. The Calcutta High Court had previously withdrawn interim protection granted to him.
