NHRC directs DM to take action to improve road connectivity in Nabarangpur villages in 8 weeks

The National Human Rights Commission has directed the Nabarangpur district administration to act within eight weeks on a complaint regarding the lack of basic infrastructure, including roads and electricity, in 258 villages. Human rights activist Anup Kumar Patro highlighted severe hardships faced by nearly 13 lakh residents, predominantly from Scheduled Tribe communities, impacting their right to life and dignity.
