From Lakhimpur to top of world: Rupamoni becomes 1st Assam woman to scale Everest

Making headlines for her groundbreaking achievement, Rupamoni Gorh from Assam has become the trailblazing first woman from her region to stand atop Mount Everest at just 26 years old. As part of the ITBP's historic all-female team, she reached the pinnacle of the world on May 21st.
