Bengaluru police head constable Thippanna Alugur, 33, died by suicide on Friday night, blaming his wife Parvati and father-in-law Yamunappa for harassment and torture in his death note. Thippanna, a resident of Electronic City, was attached to the Hulimavu police station (Law and Order). He hailed from Handiganuru village near Sindhagi town in Vijayapura district in North Karnataka. Thippanna had been married to Parvati from his hometown for three years, and the couple had no children.
