Opelousas police investigate shooting that left one injured

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) -- The Opelousas Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man injured in the leg.

The shooting reportedly occurred near the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Blanchard Street.

Police said the man was shot twice in the leg and is in stable condition. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
