Government lists bills related to one nation, one election for introduction in Lok Sabha on Dec 16

The Indian government is preparing for simultaneous Lok Sabha and state assembly elections. The Union Cabinet approved a constitutional amendment bill. Two draft laws were also cleared. These changes aim to implement the 'one nation, one election' plan. The bills will be introduced in the Lok Sabha. The government is currently excluding local body elections from this initiative.
