Holiday Valley opening for season on Friday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After this past weekend's snow, Holiday Valley will open for the season on Friday.

As long as the weather forecast holds, ski and snowboard season will begin at 9 a.m. with four lifts open: Mardi Gras 6, Yodeler, Tannenbaum and Creekside. The number of slopes is still to be determined.

Night skiing will also begin on Friday so lifts will run until 10 p.m.
